The Day At Berry Park.
I was sitting on the windowsill, when my father said,
"Lets go to Berry Park!" With in a flash I got my coat, scarf and
hat and out the door I went. When my father came out,
he held my cold hand and crossed me over the road. When
we got to Berry Park I asked my father "Can I get
a can of coke?"
"Fine, but while you're there get me a Strawberry Chip ice-cream."
I was on my way back when suddenly a boy with a cowboy suit and a toy
a toy gun came up to me.
"Stick`em up!" he said.
"Who are you?" I was trying to be polite but He
said "Don't ask questions! Just hand the ice-cream over."
"But its not mine!" The cold wet Strawberry
Chip ice-cream melted down my hands and I became sticky! The
boy snatched the ice cream off me and said, "Now get over there!"
As he went to lick the ice cream I ran and snatched the ice
cream off him and pushed him on the floor! "Oh.
No! Ouch! Give that back," He said. I ran off and
said to myself "Thank goodness that's over." The
next morning when I woke up I saw that I had a big burs on my leg, where I
was pushed against the swings! "Ricky. There's a boy down here for
you," my mother shouted. I ran down stairs
thinking it's my best mate Jo. But it wasn't. I opened
the front door and outside was the boy that wanted my dad's ice cream and
his mother was holding his ear! "Well come on
Todd!" she said. "I'm sorry for what I did
yesterday. I accepted his apology and for that day on
he was one of my best friends.
