Friday 17th November is Children in Need Day ...........
and in Porth Junior School that means ONE thing. FUN, FUN and in the afternoon EVEN MORE FUN.
It starts with NO SCHOOL UNIFORM ! Hurray...............
Mr. Jones wore his Children in Need tie!

At 10.20 we went to the hall for Class 4R's Children in Need assembly
(and had to listen to Sam's Jokes.)

After the assembly we all had a Pudsey Bear Biscuits made by the Canteen staff.

During the afternoon we had a visit from EGNI - the Canteen Staff Mascot who played games with us and presented a prize to our competition winner.

Finally we held our guessing game where we guess the amount of money we raised during the day.

THIS YEAR WE RAISED £174.32.

Sam and Jodie had a dual conversation with the BBC in Cardiff to tell them how much we raised. The total was flashed up on the screen at about 8.40.p.m. We got ourselves on the television again. Well done Kids, and thank you parents for your donations.
