The Saga of the Pudsey Bear Biscuits

Mr Jones saw an idea on the Lakeland web site to make Pudsey Bear biscuits. He went to Cardiff to buy the cutter which was shaped like a Pudsey Bear. Mrs Gibby and the Canteen Staff volunteered to make the mixture and some of the children from 4R helped as well. They began the project on Tuesday.

They mixed the ingredients together and put the bears into the oven. When they came out - DISASTER - they broke, arms, legs, heads all fell off. Mrs Gibby had a problem. Undaunted they had another go. By now it was 3 o'clock and there was flower, pots and pans all over the kitchen. Still, the ladies were determined. They carried on. Never mind the mess, they could not fail. They had made a promise to Pudsey!

This time SUCCESS !!!!
Some of 6J's girls helped decorate the bears by putting icing on the Pudsey's to make his patch and eye. We all had a Pudsey Bear biscuit after all thanks to the hard work of the Canteen ladies. Next year they will know what to do.
THANK YOU LADIES!
