Children of World War Two - an online educational site developed by the BBC in association with the Imperial War Museum.  An excellent resource which can be used alone, or in conjunction with the BBC Zig Zag programme. Photographs, letters, an insight into how people lived in the 1940s, plus a Rationing Challenge game! Parents and teachers guidance notes are included.

History Online - Subscription site gives lots of good ideas. Use excellent the "Search" facility.

Central California Historical Military - dedicated to the preservation of the Eagle Field Army Air Forces training base.
Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum - dedicated to the preservation of the history of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan and to those airmen who trained and served their country in WWII.
Eldred World War II Museum - British-American munitions plant for WWII, the museum includes a library, diaramas, and letters.
