Basketball with Missy


Missy Lender has been our Basketball Coach for Six seasons. She is a professional with the Rhondda Rebels Ladies Basketball Team. The Rebels won the British Ladies Basketball Cup and League last year and were voted the Team of the Year in this year's BBC Wales Sports Personality of the Year ceremony held in St. David's Hall in Cardiff.

Missy has arranged many three-on-three tournaments with other Rhondda Schools. The latest was before the Rebels played their first European Cup match against the French side Namur in the Rhondda Fach Sports Centre at Tylorstown. We arranged a bus from school to cheer on the Rebels.	Missy now organises a Basketball Club for Year Six in school which is supported by the New Opportunities Fund for out of school learning.
