TEN Things you've always wanted to know about Mr Jones.

Question

Answer

Where were you educated?

Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Ynyswen, Ysgol Gyfun Rhydfelen, Cardiff College of Education, University of Wales Institute Cardiff
What's your favourite subject? I suppose its IT because you can use it in all subjects and use the internet to research topics.
Which person do you admire the most and why? Simon Weston, the Falklands War hero. He suffered horrendous injuries during the war, but still keeps on smiling and gets on with life. When I feel sorry for myself, I often think of him and that shakes me out of my moods.
What's your favourite food? The Pork in Calvados Sauce that they serve in the Hotel des Trois Mousquataires in Air sur la lys, France
What's your favourite film? When I was younger, I remember going to the Parc and Dare Cinema to see Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. We acted out scenes from the film for years and I still have a recording of the sound track.
Where is your favourite place in the world? My wife and I have visited Normandy in France many times, but I also have a soft spot for St David's in Dyfed.
Do you have any hobbies? I enjoys singing with the Swansea Bach Choir and watching at sport - Rugby, Cricket, American Football (mostly on Sky Sports)
What Television programmes do you never miss? I always watch (or videotape) Frazier and Ally McBeal.
I also try to watch Coronation Street as it reminds me of a friend I have from Manchester.
What is the funniest thing that's happened to you? After watching Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, my friends and I went up to the Fforch in Treorchy and jumped off the rock into the lake like Butch and Sundance did. It was a jump of about six feet straight into the water. After surfacing, I looked around and found my shorts floating beside me. Everybody laughed while I tried to put on my shorts and hide my embarrassment.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Depending on how much I won, I would donate a sizable amount to local charities, and probably buy a house with a vineyard in a warm country so my wife wouldn't complain when she's cold. I'd probably be able to give up teaching, I'd miss the day to day teaching, but wouldn't miss the planning and marking, reports and all the other boring things that we have to put up with. Buy the staff a laminator each.
